Yep, You guessed it. It’s Pieter vd Westhuizen.
Pieter has been extremely active on the Cape Town gigging scene as a solo performer, as part of the ‘Replay’ duo, and the band ‘Deja Bru’.
He first picked up a guitar at 12 years old and has not put it down since.
Completely self-taught, Pieter found his sound through years of late-night practice sessions and a deep love for the classics. By the time he was 20, he was performing as a rhythm guitarist and vocalist in bands around Cape Town, bringing timeless songs to life on stage.
Pieter’s repertoire spans the golden age of pop, rock and blues from the 50’s to the 2000’s, blending nostalgia with energy and heart. What a great fit for Doppler Effect!
